Best Sound Quality
Set the iPod EQ to small speakers or no EQ and adjust sound using the BASS and TREBLE buttons on the remote control.

Tube Performance
Power on the amplifier and wait 2-3 minutes before operating. Warming the vacuum tubes will enhance their performance.

Handling Vacuum Tubes
Contact with oils and dirt from your hands build up on the glass envelope of the tube, eventually causing it to run hotter than it should, shortening its life. If you have to remove or replace a tube, use the gloves provided to handle it. Do not touch the vacuum tubes with bare hands.

Vacuum Tubes

Q: When should you replace the vacuum tubes?
A: You should only replace the vacuum tubes in the amplifier when you start to notice a change in the sound quality. This is usually evident when the tone becomes "dull", and transients seem to be blunted. You may also notice a decrease in the gain of the amplifier. This is normally enough of a warning for tube replacement.
